Meal plans are designed to help you guide in the selection and choice of food. Moreover, it helps to include all necessary nutrients in your diet. Your doctor or nutritionist would make such a plan for you. And you can learn to follow it. But the big obstacle is that you may find it difficult to discipline yourself. If you have high blood pressure then a meal plan will be set accordingly. And your other ailments like diabetes can also have a particular meal plan. But you should not be very rigid with your plan. As it will make you change it after a short time. Moreover, it is not easy to eat the same food all the time. And you and your family may require variety. You can learn how to stick to a meal plan. And eat regularly.

Furthermore, if you have children then you need diverse food. As they will not be eating the same thing all the time. You can eat it for a while but later you will get bored with it.
