Have you experienced a situation when your anxiety level is such that you drown in your sweat? And your beat is loud and tension in your nerves made you lose focus. You should know that many people have sweaty hands when they are nervous. For instance, have you noticed your hands during an interview? You would need to dry them because of the overactive secretion glands in your hands. It is pretty normal to sweat during an anxiety episode. But if you feel you have several other episodes then you can visit the doctor. Even though anxiety sweating is normal you can learn how to stop anxiety sweating.

Additionally, you should know that during your fight or flight response, your body’s hormones are working extra. Moreover, your hormones will make you show certain symptoms like heart rate increase, sweating, increase in breathing, and so on. You see it is not important that you should have an anxiety disorder to sweat. But you can normally sweat during a nervous situation. Chapter 1:

Sweating under Anxiety

During emergencies, our bodies prepare to fight and thus there are certain physical reactions. For instance, heart rate increase, breathing increase, muscle tension, chest tightness, sweating, nausea, and so on. But these symptoms may vary in people. You see, your blood pressure may increase or decrease during stress. While your sisters’ blood sugar may rise. Our bodies react differently to different situations. And sweating is a sign of nervousness. Our hands and palms get sweaty during a nervous episode. You can know how to stop anxiety and sweating.

Moreover, people who suffer from panic attacks may sweat a lot when they encounter a nervousness bout or session. And sometimes, you may need medical assistance. Because excessive stress or panic may mimic a heart attack situation and you never know any other disease you might have. Therefore, you can get your physical tests don’t be sure about your problem.

Social Anxiety

You should know that excessive sweating could be a response to social anxiety. And when you are in public and face anxiety. Then you will sweat a lot. You need to learn to stay calm in this situation. Moreover, your symptoms should stay there for a long time. Then only it can be diagnosed as social anxiety. You need to remember that sweating can be natural. But when you are in tension then also you could sweat. Furthermore, it is your body’s reaction. And you should not worry. But, if you have had this problem for a very long period then see a doctor. Similarly, you could not perform well in this situation. And would require assistance.

Additionally, your stress can trigger sweat. And other signs include nausea, trembling of hands, tense muscles, and so on. If your symptoms matched the disorder then you can talk to a therapist. Also, you cannot control the secretion of sweat as it is the body’s natural response. But you can always calm yourself which will lead to less secretion by the glands.   • During an anxiety episode, you should observe that your muscles tighten and nerves become tense. You need to change this thing. When you are under stress try to calm yourself down. You can do deep breathing. And it will help you to relax your tense muscles. Moreover, you should distract your mind from the stressful thing. For instance, you keep getting anxious thinking about the accident. So, you divert your mind to another matter. Likewise, you can play soothing music to relax. similar there are a lot of relaxing methods that can come helpful. You can do yoga and meditate.
  • Secondly, when you clench your muscles or nerves tightly they sweat. For instance, your hands become sweaty when you clench your fist. So, relax and relieve the nerves. Accordingly, your secretion of sweat will reduce on its own. And you would not resort to medicine.
  • Third of all, you should exercise regularly. It will help you to maintain a healthy weight.
  • You should wear cotton clothes.
  • Next of all, meditation can help you relax. And make you self-aware. Moreover, when anxiety is making you sweat. And learn to deal with anxiety and sweating.

Chapter 4:

Other Ways to Deal With Sweating

You can use certain home remedies. First, you can apply antiperspirants which will help you deal with sweat. Also, it can plug the sweat ducts. Moreover, be careful that it does not irritate your skin. Second of all, you should not wear too heavy clothes. As these clothes can make trap your sweat in them. Bathe twice a day. Moreover, you should wear loose clothes. Also, try to wear cotton as it helps your skin to breathe.

Second of all, you can change your eating habits. You should avoid oily or spicy food which can make you sweat. Eat healthy things like fruits and vegetables. As these will help you maintain proper body temperature

Third of all, in summer you should stay in a cool place. Moreover when there is humidity then you can use air conditioners. And it will prevent sweating. If you have a problem with excessive sweating then you should drink water. As you have a chance of getting dehydrated.

Next of all, you should try to get relief from symptoms of anxiety. As they are the reason for your anxiety and sweating. And you can learn how to stop anxiety and sweating. You can also consult a doctor if you have huge discomfort.
